Mork-Ulne Architects designs the new Crest Guesthome which is a compact space that rests in what was once a grade grom the 50s. The layout of the home is very unique as it reflects the look of a Swiss Army Knife and pushes boundaries on the scope of small and comfortable home structures.
The Crest guesthouse is located in Marin County in California and a family of three tapped the studio for help They were looking for a space as their temporary home as the main residence is going through renovations. The home measures 400 square feet and is nestled in the forest. Forest fires have been an issue in the state and so the home is finished with a fire-resistant cement board.
